Titus 1:9

ἀντεχόμενον τοῦ κατὰ τὴν διδαχὴν πιστοῦ λόγου, ἵνα δυνατὸς ᾖ καὶ παρακαλεῖν ἐν τῇ διδασκαλίᾳ τῇ ὑγιαινούσῃ, καὶ τοὺς ἀντιλέγοντας ἐλέγχειν.

he who is holding on by the Trustworthy Word according to the Doctrine so that he may be a powerful one, and to encourage within the Teaching, the one who is sound/healthy, and to put to shame the ones who are disputing/gainsaying.

Julia Smith Literal 1876 Translation:
Holding firmly the faithful word according to instruction, that he may be able also to beseech in sound doctrine, and to refute those opposing.

clinging to the faithful word according to the teaching, that he may be able both to encourage by sound doctrine and to convict the ones contradicting.
